VP of Growth & Strategy Position Focus:

The Data & Systems Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our data infrastructure and business operations. Reporting to the VP of Growth & Strategy, you will oversee PRG's Gnosis and Double the Donation platforms, ensuring peak system performance and data integrity. This role requires a unique mix of technical database proficiency, cross-departmental collaboration, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical colleagues. You will support the Peer Support & Education (PS&E) and Development teams, collaborate closely with Finance, and serve as a vital extension of our Data department-including hands-on involvement at key PRG events.

At PRG we are constantly reminded of just how precious every day is so we love big, appreciate the little things and show up for one another. Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:

Gnosis System Administration & Management Database Operations:

Direct day-to-day Gnosis administration, including user access, data integrity, duplicate resolution, custom query building, and ongoing maintenance.

Systems Integration:

Support the lifecycle of system implementations, data field consolidations, API tools, and custom reporting to support high-volume PS&E programming.

Cross-Departmental Alignment:

Collaborate across Programming, Tech, Marketing, and Community Engagement, and PS&E teams to optimize event management, data flows, and shared initiatives (e.g., Survivor Celebrations, Peer Support & Education Mentorship, etc.).

Vendor Support & Enablement:

Serve as the primary internal Gnosis contact and liaise with Connect4/Gnosis technical support under our System Support Agreement (SSA) to resolve complex database architecture needs while bridging non-technical team needs Double the

Donation & Matching Gift Management Platform Administration:

Oversee end-to-end administration of Double the Donation, ensuring accurate real-time data syncs and optimal functionality of embedded search widgets.

Match Lifecycle Tracking:

Monitor and track matching gift progress from initial donor identification through corporate payout, maintaining clean data hygiene across all integrated systems.

Reporting & Process Improvement:

Analyze matching gift data trends to deliver actionable reports for the development team and optimize automated follow-up messaging to drive higher match completion rates.

RE/NXT & Financial Reconciliation Database Support:

Assist with donor data entry, processing, constituent communications, and record maintenance in RE/NXT as PRG continues to grow.

Financial Reconciliation:

Partner with the Finance team to assist in monthly data reconciliation between Sage (financial reporting) and RE/NXT (fundraising database).

Data Privacy:

Strictly enforce donor privacy policies, confidentiality, and data governance best practices.

Data Analytics & Reporting Dashboard & KPI Creation:

Build custom reports and dashboards using

RE:

NXT Insight Designer (and PowerBI, as needed) to track KPIs, campaign progress, and department performance.

Data Health:

Collaborate with leadership to define and track core data health metrics that reflect team impact and mission success.

Event & Operational Support On-Site Event Data Capture:

Represent the data team at flagship PRG events, supporting real-time data capture, registration, and operational technology needs. Some of these events require occasional out of town travel, evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree with background in data management, project management, non profit experience, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

3+ years experience working with data, in a technical job, working with customers. Non-profit industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with non-profit CRMs/databases (e.g., Gnosis, Blackbaud RE/NXT, OneCause, or Omatic a plus). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills and Mail Merge comfort required); Google Workspace proficiency preferred. Familiarity with database architecture, reporting tools, and data governance practices.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical team members. Highly organized with elite attention to detail and the ability to use problem solving skills

Working Conditions & Travel:
Office Schedule:

In-person 3 days per week at our Dayton, OH office.

Events & Travel:

Attendance is required at flagship annual PRG events, which involves occasional evening/weekend hours and light out-of-town travel.
