We are hiring entry-level Commissioning Engineers to support a small field team with a defined advancement path into a Project Engineer role. What you'll do Commission and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systems, including HVAC equipment, chillers, fan arrays, and power distribution systems Perform I/O troubleshooting on hard‑wired points and network communications, including Modbus register‑level diagnostics Interpret one‑line diagrams, network architecture drawings, and control schematics Assist with graphics integration on Ignition and AVEVA System Platform Download, verify, and make basic PLC program edits under the direction of a lead engineer (Schneider Electric, function block diagram) Document issues clearly, escalate appropriately, and work under a lead within a small field team What we're looking for BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology preferred; technicians with strong hands‑on controls experience will also be considered Comfortable using a multimeter Exposure to any major PLC platform (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens) is a plus Familiarity with Modbus or BACnet is a plus Able to perform field work 8+ hours per day on an active construction site; standard 45‑hour workweeks, Monday through Friday Coachable, motivated, and eager to learn—we will train the right candidate Schedule & Logistics On-site Monday through Friday, 45‑hour standard workweeks. Weekends and holidays are paid at 1.5x. Travel rotation options are available (10 on / 4 off, or 2‑week deployments with 6 days home).
