Not a Work-Study Program Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Data Center Smart Hands Trainee to support the reliability and performance of critical IT infrastructure. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise-level hardware and networking technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment-ideal for individuals looking to launch a career in data center operations or IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot & Resolve:

Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across servers, storage systems, and network devices.

Install & Maintain:

Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and structured cabling.

Ticket Management:

Accurately track, update, and close service tickets in a timely manner.

Collaboration:

Partner with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Continuous Learning:

Participate in training programs to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.

Inventory & Asset Management:

Support hardware inventory tracking and lifecycle management. Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC): Assist with installations, labeling, rack/stack, and connectivity during upgrades and deployments.

Compliance & Security:

Adhere to site security protocols and ensure proper documentation of all activities.

Qualifications:

entry Level Required High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred) Strong interest in IT infrastructure, networking, and hardware Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Preferred Familiarity with basic hand tools and hardware components Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Data Center certifications) are a plus Why Join Us?
