Job Description

As our Data Center business continues to grow, we are seeking an OFCI Project Engineer to support the planning, procurement, tracking, coordination, and delivery of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment across large-scale mission-critical projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of construction operations, supply chain management, equipment logistics, and project execution. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, trade partners, vendors, and clients to ensure critical equipment is delivered, tracked, installed, and commissioned successfully. As an OFCI Project Engineer, you will be a key member of the project delivery team, responsible for supporting the management of equipment and material packages that are critical to successful data center construction. You will help coordinate procurement activities, track manufacturing and delivery schedules, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and support installation readiness efforts. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 0-5 years of construction, engineering, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, or project coordination experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel and spend significant time on project sites. Nice to Have Data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction experience. Experience with Procore, ACC, Primavera P6, or similar construction management platforms. Understanding of procurement, supply chain, and logistics processes. Experience working with critical MEP systems and equipment packages.
Compensation Target Hiring Range:
$70,000 - $90,000 annually Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually; however, compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and business considerations. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
