Data Center Technician L3 /Lead Technician Location:
Forest City, NC Employment Type:
Contract Seeking an experienced Lead Data Center Technician to lead network infrastructure deployments, including network hardware installation, fiber-optic cabling, provisioning, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities- Lead technician teams during data center deployments.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design packages, and BOMs.
- Install, route, patch, label, and test network hardware and fiber cabling.
- Support network provisioning and troubleshooting.
- Maintain project documentation, installation photos, and daily status updates.
- Ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery. Requirements
- 5-7+ years of data center/network infrastructure experience.
- 3+ years of team leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with network hardware and fiber-optic cabling.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to multiple locations.
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hourWork Location:
