Contract Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise servers and data center hardware. The role focuses on hardware troubleshooting, break/fix repairs, component replacement, and server maintenance. AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair enterprise server hardware. Support Dell PowerEdge and other rack-mounted servers. Replace CPUs, DIMMs, power supplies, SSDs, RAID/HBA, NICs, GPUs, fans, and motherboards. Perform rack-and-stack, server installation, cabling, and hardware configuration. Perform BIOS/firmware updates and use iDRAC, iLO, or similar tools. Execute preventive maintenance and document service activities. Coordinate with customers and technical teams; participate in on-call support.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on enterprise server or data center hardware experience. Experience with server break/fix, component replacement, and hardware diagnostics. Knowledge of server architecture, BIOS/firmware, and Linux or similar operating systems. Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Dell PowerEdge server experience. Knowledge of iDRAC, iLO, GPU servers, and AI infrastructure. Data center deployment, rack-and-stack, and structured cabling experience. Relevant IT certifications or an associate's/bachelor's degree.
Pay:
$41.61 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
