October 9, 2026 Assistant Application Database Analyst Philadelphia, PA $36 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Snelling is seeking an experienced Assistant Application Database Analyst to support our Client's Global Field Financials team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support databases and data integrations used across global operations. The ideal candidate has strong SQL Server development skills, experience building enterprise ETL processes, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and support databases for the Global Field Financials application. Translate business requirements into database designs and technical solutions. Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration, migration, and automated workflows. Monitor and improve database and ETL performance, troubleshoot data loads, and implement error handling and auditing. Administer SQL Server Agent jobs, including scheduling and troubleshooting. Review code and ensure compliance with database standards and software development processes. Maintain technical documentation, specifications, and project estimates. Manage source control and deployment processes using Azure DevOps/TFS. Collaborate with domestic and international development teams. Provide database support during and outside regular business hours as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of technical development experience in a team environment. At least 2 years of senior database development experience, including data-driven web applications and writing and testing DDL and DML scripts. At least 2 years of experience building and supporting enterprise ETL processes. Experience with SQL Server 2022 or newer. Strong skills in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, and performance tuning. Experience developing and maintaining functional or technical specifications. Familiarity with change control, code migration, and management tools. Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and follow established development standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle databases, business intelligence, or data warehousing. Familiarity with SentryOne, Redgate, or similar database management tools. Experience with C#, WCF, web services, ASP.NET, or PowerShell. Experience working with Unicode and international character sets. Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and related financial or inventory processes. Relevant Microsoft SQL Server certification.
