We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Manager (ISM) to oversee and maintain the essential technology infrastructure driving our restaurant operations. This direct-hire position is based in Baldwin County, with a competitive compensation package ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your professional background. In this active, hands-on position, you will be responsible for managing Micros POS platforms, Microsoft environments, A/V equipment, and various software applications. By collaborating with departments such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, and HR, as well as external IT partners, you will ensure our technological ecosystem remains secure, dependable, and fully integrated with our organizational objectives. Core Responsibilities Direct the administration and resolution of technical issues for Micros POS platforms across our restaurant sites. Ensure the seamless operation of all POS hardware, including tablets, payment terminals, and printing equipment. Deliver comprehensive technical assistance for Microsoft software suites, Windows/Mac computers, and mobile devices running Android or iOS. Maintain and monitor audio/visual systems to ensure they function correctly for daily business and special events. Partner with external software, payment, and A/V vendors to facilitate installations, system upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Act as the central liaison between our restaurant staff and technology service providers to resolve technical challenges. Help maintain a precise inventory of all company technology assets, including mobile devices, computers, POS hardware, and facility keys. Create and update standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and instructional guides for internal use. Educate staff on the effective use of POS and other systems to improve operational proficiency. Research and propose innovative technological solutions to enhance overall efficiency and the quality of the guest experience. Collaborate with external IT partners to support network services, cybersecurity protocols, and broader infrastructure projects. Generate and deliver detailed reports regarding operational, labor, and sales metrics for management review. Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and data privacy when managing sensitive financial and employee information. Required Qualifications Demonstrated professional background in Information Systems, IT, or Technology Management. Extensive practical experience working with Micros POS or similar restaurant-specific point-of-sale systems. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Technical competence in supporting diverse operating systems including Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. Prior experience within the hospitality, restaurant, or retail sectors managing multi-site technology. Strong organizational and project management capabilities to help streamline complex technical workflows. Proven ability to manage relationships with third-party vendors and external service providers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist internal team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple priorities and working with minimal supervision.
