Job Description
BOOKKEEPER / DATA MANAGER / FEDERAL PROGRAMS QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in general office skills including but not limited to typing, letter writing, filing, and bookkeeping. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, preferably business or college training. Other qualifications as set by the Gadsden City Board of Education.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Bookkeeper/Data Manager must have demonstrated experience using the Alabama State Department of Education's eGAP system to support federal program applications, amendments, reimbursements, and budget monitoring. The position requires experience contributing to the Consolidated Plan, including developing Title I budgets and completing applicable Application Details. The successful candidate will use Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to create, track, reconcile, and update each school's Title I budget on a monthly basis. This individual must maintain accurate financial records, analyze expenditures against approved budgets, and communicate timely budget information to school and district leadership. Experience with Droplet and the Purchase Order process is required. Experience creating presentations using Canva and working with artificial intelligence (AI) platforms is also required.

Performs other reasonable and appropriate assignments as may be delegated by the administration in accordance with the policies of the Gadsden City Board of Education.
