We believe every person deserves to be respected, heard, included, and empowered to shape their own futureThe Arc of Adams County is seeking a Temporary Data Entry & Document Assistant to support a short-term organizational data and records project. This position will assist with reviewing information in an existing database, transferring and organizing data, scanning and electronically filing documents, and helping create a dashboard to summarize information collected during the project. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers and electronic documents, and able to maintain accuracy while working with a large volume of information. This is a temporary, project-based position and will end upon completion of the assigned project. What You Will Do Data Entry & Organization Review and retrieve information from an existing database. Enter and organize information in spreadsheets and tracking tools. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent information. Maintain organized records of completed and outstanding work. Document Scanning & Electronic Filing Prepare paper documents for scanning. Scan and electronically organize documents. Apply established file naming and organizational conventions. File documents in designated electronic folders or systems. Identify duplicate, incomplete, or improperly filed documents. Maintain confidentiality when working with organizational records. Dashboard & Reporting Support Compile project information into organized spreadsheets. Assist with summarizing information, counts, and trends. Assist with creating a simple dashboard to summarize project data. Maintain accurate source information supporting the dashboard. Provide periodic updates regarding project progress and completed work. General Administrative Support Maintain organized project files. Track project progress and outstanding items. Communicate questions or discrepancies to the supervisor. Follow organizational policies and procedures. Perform other related administrative duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with data entry, administrative work, document management, or similar work. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic to intermediate computer skills. Ability to work with spreadsheets and electronic documents. Strong organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while following established procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with databases. Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Experience scanning and electronically organizing documents. Experience creating basic charts, reports, or dashboards. Experience with electronic document-management systems. Previous nonprofit, human services, education, healthcare, or administrative experience.
