2997511990-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cox Automotive seeks a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead enterprise privacy strategy across its telecommunications and media-focused automotive brands. You will design and maintain privacy policies, standards, and data governance frameworks, partnering with legal, security, data, and product teams to ensure compliance with global regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Responsibilities include privacy impact assessments, data mapping, third-party governance, incident response support, and privacy training. This role shapes how Cox Automotive responsibly uses data to power innovative, customer-centric solutions worldwide. Responsibilities Lead enterprise privacy governance strategy for Cox Automotive's telecommunications and media platforms Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies, standards, and data handling frameworks Partner with legal, security, product, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Oversee privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and records of processing activities Establish and track privacy KPIs, reporting risks and remediation plans to senior leadership Drive privacy-by-design practices in new products, data products, and marketing initiatives Manage privacy training, awareness, and guidance for business stakeholders Coordinate incident response support for privacy incidents and data breaches Evaluate and govern third-party data sharing, contracts, and data processing agreements Continuously monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to update governance models Required Skills Privacy governance Data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Data governance and data cataloging Risk assessment and privacy impact assessments (PIAs/ DPIAs) Information security and data protection controls Policy development and compliance frameworks Vendor and third-party risk management Incident response and breach management Data mapping and records of processing activities Stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
