NGA seeks Graphic Designers who are experts in visual storytelling to design world class graphical content to support various missions. Graphic Designers should be comfortable working with complex spial and non-spial GEOINT da on frequently technical subjects. Successful candides expected to apply cartographic design principles and GIS-enabled production workflows to develop accure, customer-tailored GEOINT products, including planning maps, reference maps, and other decision-support visualizions. Also key, are critical thinking skills and the ability to transition quickly from different products of completely different scope, design medium, and subject mter. The Graphic Designer must possess strong organizional, oral communicion, writing, and planning skills to manage the workflow of projects and the coordinion with other technical disciplines to meet customer deadlines. Additionally, the Graphic Designer must be able to work equally well independently or on a team and have strong technical skills to mentor other employees on graphic procedures. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to SCI. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examinion in order to maintain access to Top Secret informion. All employees are subject to a periodic examinion on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examinion may result in denial of access to Top Secret informion, SAP, or unescorted access to SCIFs. Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility. NGA utilizes all processes and procedures of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Non-executive NGA employees are assigned to five distinct pay bands based on the type and scope of work performed. The employee's base salary is established within their assigned pay band based on their unique qualificions. A performance pay process is conducted each year to determine a potential base pay salary increase and/or bonus. An employee's annual performance evaluion is a key factor in the performance pay process. This position is a DCIPS position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandory Qualificion Criteria to include educion (if required). Experience using Esri ArcGIS Pro to cree, edit, symbolize, and produce custom map products from geospial da, including planning maps, reference maps, and other GEOINT-derived visual products.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

A.

Educion:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Commercial Arts, Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communicion, Da Visualizion, Imaging and Digital Arts, or a reled field.

Combinion of Educion and Experience:

A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience designing, producing, and finishing visual presention products, or a reled area th demonstres the ability to successfully perform the duties associed with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candides should show th their combinion of educion and experience totals 4 years.
