Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Donations & Data Coordinator for our Catholic TV Ministry, where your enthusiasm and strategic mindset will make a meaningful impact. In this vital role, you will manage donor relations, oversee database operations, and support fundraising initiatives that advance our mission of faith-based outreach. Responsibilities Process incoming donations (mail, online, and other channels) and enter them into our donor database Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor and viewer records Process prayer intention submissions from our website Prepare donor correspondence, including acknowledgment letters and Giving Tree updates Provide general administrative and data-entry support as needed Help set up and coordinate the bimonthly tapings of the Sunday Mass in Jamaica, Queens Maintain and update donor and alumni databases using CRM software such as Raiser's Edge, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data privacy standards. Support fundraising campaigns through strategic planning, digital marketing, and social media outreach to expand donor engagement. Write compelling grant proposals and assist in developing grant applications to secure funding for ministry projects. Requirements Proven experience with databases management, particularly with CRM software like Raiser's Edge or similar platforms. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations. Excellent writing skills for grant proposals, donor communications, and marketing content. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, project management, and team coordination within a nonprofit or fundraising environment. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including social media marketing and online campaign management. Experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Familiarity with research techniques related to donor prospects and grant opportunities. Background in fundraising for business development or nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
