About the
Role:
As a CBRE Data Center Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services to a client or small building. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise engineering personnel, contractors, and subcontractors. Assign work orders and provide technical training and mentorship Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for facility equipment and systems. Coordinate maintenance schedules with clients to minimize business disruption. Monitor and maintain critical systems including HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems. Verify quality and completion of engineering work and ensure facilities remain operational and compliant. Respond to emergencies and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex facility issues. Drive operational improvements, resource planning, and strategic initiatives. Build relationships with clients, vendors, and senior leadership to support business objectives. Promote and model

What You'll Need:
High School Diploma / GED or trade school diploma - 5+ years of engineering, maintenance or facility operations Strong knowledge of the following: HVAC systems Chilled Water Systems Clean Dry Air Systems Process Chilled Water Vacuum Systems
BMS/BAS/SCADA
platforms Electrical Systems Alarms and Lighting Systems Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing, walking, standing, and working in industrial environments. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
