Non-Exempt Summary:

Responsible for the correct and accurate handling of all inbound and/or outbound containers and the proper release of empty containers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Constant monitoring of computer data, process all incoming information Complete and thorough understanding of import and export traffic functions Responsible for the correct and accurate handling of all inbound & outbound containers and the proper release of empty equipment Able to identify, coordinate and supply information to various department Establish and maintain a system to keep complete and accurate files on completed ships Establish & maintain good relationships with alliance partners, truckers and government agencies Communicates well with ILWU clerks, marine, rail and yard personnel Perform other related duties as assigned by management Qualification/Requirements Good communication skills Proficient with typing and computer input Knowledge and understanding of the computer system Previous Documentation working knowledge Education/Training/ Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Prior documentation and/or customer relations experience - prefer 1+ years Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
