Collect geospatial data through GPS devices, land surveying techniques, and remote sensing methods; ensure precise data management and quality control. Create detailed maps and visualizations using GIS software, incorporating cartographic principles to enhance clarity and impact for diverse audiences. Write scripts and develop APIs for automating workflows, improving data processing efficiency, and integrating various geospatial data sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop GIS models that support land surveying, urban planning, environmental monitoring, or infrastructure development projects. Requirements Proven experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS or equivalent mapping platforms; proficiency in GIS analysis techniques is essential.
