Full Job Description Description:
Behind Every Patient We Serve Is a System That Has to Work. At Patient Care Infusion and Arizona Home Care, we believe patients deserve exceptional care in the comfort of their own homes. As a locally owned, mission-driven family of companies — a home infusion pharmacy, a Medicare-certified home health agency, and a nuclear pharmacy serving hospitals across Arizona — we've spent thirty years building something that works. Now we're looking for an experienced IT Manager to own the technology that holds it all together. This is not just a help desk job. You will be the technology function for all three companies: the servers, the vendors, the equipment, the accounts, and the hard question of whether any of it is actually working the way it should. You'll report directly to the owner.
Pay and Benefits:
Salary:
$115K-$140K/yr Medical, dental, vision & life insurance Health savings account 401(k) Up to 120 hours of PTO + 6 paid holidays. PTO Increased with tenure. Annual budget for certifications, training, and continuing education. A fully stocked kitchen with coffee, snacks, and more
Schedule:
Full-Time Monday-Friday, business hours Occasional after-hours or weekend work for scheduled maintenance windows and system cutovers Phone availability for critical system outages
Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain our on-premise and cloud server infrastructure, network, endpoints, backups, and disaster recovery — pharmacy operations, nursing dispatch, and delivery routing depend on these systems every day Manage our technology and software vendor relationships end to end: maintain a master contract inventory, track spend and renewal dates, negotiate renewals, run competitive evaluations, and hold vendors to their service commitments Build and maintain a complete asset inventory covering workstations, laptops, tablets, phones, printers, scanners, network equipment, and vehicle telematics hardware — including assignment, purchase date, replacement cycle, and licensing Partner with pharmacy, nursing, billing, and dispatch teams to identify where staff are doing manual work our software should be doing, and fix it through configuration, integration, reporting, or automation Scope, select, and implement new systems — running the pilot, writing the procedure, training the staff, and staying with it until adoption is real Provision and de-provision user accounts across all systems, enforce role-based access, administer multi-factor authentication, and maintain an auditable record of who has access to what, with same-day offboarding Partner with HR to own the technology side of new hire onboarding: role-based access templates, equipment staging, and day-one readiness so a new technician or field nurse starts with a working badge, laptop, and every login they need Help administer and improve our HR platform's onboarding and learning modules, and orient new staff on the systems they'll actually use Ensure technology practices support compliance with HIPAA, state Board of Pharmacy requirements, and accrediting body standards Evaluate and manage outside technical resources and contractors when a project calls for additional help Participate in QAPI initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Required:
5+ years in a hands-on IT role with real ownership — small-business IT lead, senior systems administrator, IT manager, or managed service provider engineer with named-account responsibility Demonstrated depth in Windows Server, Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, and backup and disaster recovery Experience managing vendor contracts and renewals — not just opening support tickets Working knowledge of the HIPAA Security Rule and what it requires of technical safeguards, access controls, and audit logging Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technology to clinical and administrative staff Comfort operating as the only technical person in the building Experience with system integrations, APIs, reporting tools, or scripting
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, home health, or another regulated industry Familiarity with any of: CareTend, KanTime, CPR+, Paylocity, HubSpot, Sage Intacct, Samsara, Notion Experience administering an HRIS or onboarding platform, including access templates and automated provisioning Background supporting a multi-entity organization with shared services Relevant certifications A four-year degree is not required. We care about what you've run and what you've fixed
