Job Description

Position Summary We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager to manage our company's in-house ERP system and IT operations. Someone to maintain and improve our ERP, its production database and our web applications. And to also manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, security and user support. Job Duties 1. In-house ERP system Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the company's in-house ERP application. Gather requirements from business users (accounting, project management, operations and others) and turn them into new features, reports and workflow changes.
Manage the full development cycle:
design, coding, testing, deployment and documentation. Keep the source code under version control and document the system architecture and business logic, so the knowledge is not held by a single person. 2. Production database Administer the production database: performance tuning, indexing, query optimization and capacity planning. Run backup, restore and disaster-recovery procedures, and test them regularly. Manage database security, user access and permissions. Keep data accurate and consistent, and handle data migrations, integrations and data fixes. Write SQL queries, stored procedures and reports for management and business users. 3. Web applications and servers Develop and maintain the company's web applications, internal portals and website. Manage web and application servers, domains, SSL certificates, hosting and cloud resources. Monitor uptime, performance and security, and fix incidents quickly. 4. IT infrastructure and security Manage the network, firewall, VPN, Wi-Fi, servers and endpoints. Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams), including Entra ID (user/group management, SSO, Conditional Access, MFA) and Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment). Apply security policies, patching, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR) and Defender for Office 365 (email protection), MFA and access reviews. Keep an IT asset inventory and manage software licenses. 5. Support and vendor management Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for users and handle escalations. Manage IT vendors, contracts and the IT budget. Suggest and plan technology improvements that fit the company's needs. Report IT status, risks and project progress to management. Lead and mentor the IT team: assign and review work, and train staff across user support, infrastructure and software development. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of IT experience, including significant experience developing and maintaining business applications such as ERP, with the breadth to independently own both development and IT operations. Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, query tuning). Strong full-stack web development experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js, using JavaScript (TypeScript a plus) and
HTML/CSS.
Experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking, Active Directory or Azure AD, and cloud services (AWS or Azure). Solid knowledge of backup, disaster recovery and cybersecurity best practices. Ability to understand business processes and explain technical issues to non-technical users. Able to work independently as the company's lead IT person. Experience with Git, CI/CD and IT documentation practices. Preferred Experience taking over and maintaining a legacy or custom-built system, including familiarity with .NET (VB.NET/C#), as some legacy applications will need to be migrated to our current stack. Knowledge of accounting, project cost control or construction and industry-specific workflows. Certifications such as MCSA/Azure, AWS, CompTIA Security+ or CCNA. Bilingual in English and Korean.
