Phillippe Performing Arts Center, Marion, IN Summary of Position:
The Technical Director is primarily responsible for supervision and implementation of all production elements (lighting, sound, & media) of the Phillipe Performing Arts Center and various events located within the Student Center Duties and Responsibilities Produce and manage all technical aspects of events that occur within the Phillipe Performing Arts building including, but not limited to: Music & Theater events, and other campus events Facilitate technical aspects of events that occur within the student center - banquet rooms, Globe theater, and Commons area Recruit, train, and supervise IWU students in technical skills necessary to facilitate events Monitor the inventory, condition of equipment assigned with oversight Arrange for repair and replacement within the budgetary restraints Perform preventive maintenance
Qualifications:
According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
