The Coordinator of Media Ministry advances this mission by providing vision, leadership, and development for the church's media ministry. This role leads and equips volunteers across sound, lighting, presentation, video, streaming, media creation, and social media while building healthy systems and developing leaders. This is a leadership role first—not a technician role. While strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills are important, the primary focus is developing people, empowering teams, building a healthy ministry culture, and ensuring the media supports worship and ministry with excellence. The Coordinator of Media Ministry reports to the Director of Worship and works closely with the Lead Pastor, and collaborates with pastors, staff, and key volunteers across Grace Point Church. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

• Provide overall vision and direction for the Media Ministry in collaboration with the Worship Pastor and Lead Pastor.
• Recruit, train, equip, and encourage ministry coordinators and volunteer teams; raise up leaders.
• Invest in people and maintain strong relationships with team members.
• Create a culture of excellence, encouragement, service, and spiritual growth. Media Oversight & Ministry Support
• Oversee media support for Sunday worship services, special events, and church ministries.
• Provide leadership and direction in sound, lighting, presentation, video, cameras, streaming, and media production.
• Oversee media content for sermons, church communications, social media, and other ministry needs.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of media-related systems and equipment.
• Establish clear processes, schedules, and systems for the Media Ministry.
• Partner closely with the Director of Worship on stage design, service production, and media support.
• Ensure the Media Ministry effectively serves Sunday worship and the needs of other church ministries. ○ Help create an environment where technology and media enhance the worship experience and support the Gospel. ○ Ensure media is used intentionally to communicate the vision and mission of Grace Point Church.
• Manage media/tech budget under the leadership of the Director of Worship. Essential Qualifications
• Actively and intentionally grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
• Be committed to the mission and ministry of Grace Point Church.
• Demonstrate Christian character, integrity, humility, and servant leadership.
• Have experience leading and developing teams and/or volunteers.
• Have a strong working knowledge of sound, lighting, video, presentation, streaming, and other media technologies.
• Be familiar with media software such as ProPresenter, Photoshop, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Remain steady, approachable, and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Understand the importance of excellence, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Have the ability to design, build, operate, and troubleshoot necessary media systems.
• Become an attending member of Grace Point Church within 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience leading teams or volunteers.
• Experience mentoring and developing ministry leaders.
• Certifications, training, or education in media, technology, communications, or a related field.
