Manage IT Operations and Maintain Reliable Systems Are you experienced in keeping IT systems running smoothly, coordinating technical support and resolving issues that affect daily business operations? TierNorth Technologies is looking for an IT Operations Manager in Beaumont, TX, to oversee technology operations, coordinate IT resources and help maintain reliable, secure and efficient business systems. As businesses depend on connected infrastructure, cloud applications and secure access to information, effective IT operations are essential to productivity and business continuity. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day IT activities, monitor system performance, coordinate technical projects and work with internal teams to address operational challenges while improving the reliability of technology services. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, business applications and user support. Monitor system availability, performance and service reliability. Coordinate IT support requests, incident response and technical escalations. Manage routine maintenance, software updates and infrastructure improvements. Ensure appropriate user access, permissions and account management procedures are followed. Support network connectivity, server administration and cloud-based services. Coordinate backup procedures, recovery planning and business continuity activities. Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses and equipment records. Establish and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation and support standards. Track service performance metrics and identify recurring technical issues. Work with IT staff to prioritize workloads and resolve operational problems. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers on technical issues and maintenance. Assist with IT budgeting, procurement and resource planning. Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation and system patching. Plan and coordinate system upgrades, migrations and technology implementations. Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Communicate IT risks, project progress and service updates to management. Support staff development, knowledge sharing and consistent service delivery. Skills and Qualifications Experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, systems administration or a related field. Previous experience coordinating technical teams or managing IT service delivery is preferred. Strong understanding of operating systems, computer networks and business technology environments. Familiarity with Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and user administration. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is helpful. Understanding of network security, access management and system patching. Familiarity with IT service management practices and ticketing systems. Experience with monitoring tools, incident management and troubleshooting. Understanding of backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures. Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to service interruptions. Clear communication skills and the ability to work with technical and nontechnical teams. Familiarity with vendor coordination, IT asset management and budget tracking is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
