The Opportunity The eCommerce Manager is responsible for Mender's eCommerce channel end to end. This role leads a small team of eCommerce workers and is responsible for all activity from the point product leaves ITAD operations to delivery to the buyer: intake and QC, listing and pricing, inventory and aging decisions, packaging and shipping, returns, and reporting. This role requires extensive experience selling on eBay and other online marketplaces, along with experience in Quipt/SellerChamp or the ability to get up to speed quickly by drawing on experience with other selling platforms. A core part of this role is prospecting new platforms and growing eCommerce into additional channels as the business grows. The eCommerce Manager works closely with the VP of Outbound Product Sales, the ITAD operations receiving and sort teams, and the outbound wholesale sales team. The goal is to ensure the right product reaches eCommerce promptly, is listed accurately, is sold at the right price, and turns efficiently. What You'll Be Doing Developing and managing sourcing relationships with other ITAD's, Resellers, Corporate Clients, Channel Partners or any other source of related products Developing and managing product sales relationships with a global client base Consulting with management and clients on forecasted commodity (component) values and trends Supporting operations with processing instructions and cut line direction. Maintaining personal deals/clients in Pipedrive CRM system Valuation of potential and incoming deals Collaborating with inbound and hardware sales teams to close deals and provide channel direction. Updating and discussing metrics as required What We're Looking For Required Extensive experience (3+ years) selling on eBay and other online marketplaces. Experience leading, supervising, or training a small team. Basic understanding of IT hardware categories, including networking, switches, SFPs, network modules and cards, CPUs, memory, GPUs, A/V equipment, docking stations, and peripherals. Strong attention to detail with a process- and QC-oriented mindset. Experience managing inventory, including aging inventory and pricing decisions. Experience with proper packaging, shipping supplies, and shipping cost management for eCommerce. Ability to make quick, sound decisions to move product, including bulk and wholesale deals. Ability to report on KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) and strong general computer skills. Experience with Quipt/SellerChamp, or the ability to get up to speed quickly by drawing on experience with other selling platforms. Ready to Apply?
