Job Description

We respectfully request that 3 rd parties refrain from contacting us regarding this posting. Overview The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead project execution for a foundational technology initiative focused on data, architecture, infrastructure, data ingestion, and information sharing. This individual will partner closely with technology leadership and coordinate work that impacts and enables multiple other organizational priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong project/program management fundamentals with the technical fluency necessary to understand complex data and architecture environments. This person does not need to serve as the technical architect but must be able to engage effectively with technical teams, understand dependencies, ask the right questions, identify roadblocks, and translate progress and risks to business and executive stakeholders. This role requires someone who can operate at a leadership level while remaining highly hands-on in day-to-day execution. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, workstreams, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables. Drive execution across initiatives involving data, architecture, infrastructure, ingestion pipelines, and information-sharing capabilities. Coordinate technical and business teams to ensure work remains aligned, documented, and on track. Understand the progress of technical work and proactively identify roadblocks, gaps, dependencies, and required handoffs. Coordinate closely with PMs leading other priority initiatives because other projects have dependencies on this foundational work. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and a clear source of truth for project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and next steps. Provide clear status reporting to technical and executive stakeholders. Manage upward and downward across the organization to maintain accountability and momentum. Apply Agile practices where appropriate while also using traditional planning, documentation, and communication methods based on the needs of the initiative. Utilize Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Planner to manage and communicate project activity. Qualifications 10+ years of technical project management experience Demonstrated experience managing complex data, architecture, infrastructure, or enterprise technology initiatives. Experience with data ingestion and data pipelines Insurance industry experience preferred Strong understanding of technical architecture and system dependencies. Ability to work effectively with architects, engineering/data teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Proven experience managing large, interconnected technical initiatives. Strong Agile/hybrid project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation $90-100/hr, dependent upon experience
