Description We are looking for a business-focused AI and digital transformation specialist to join our team in Massachusetts. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can connect business needs with practical technology solutions, helping teams adopt AI, automation, and digital tools in a thoughtful and effective way. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve processes, support responsible use of emerging technologies, and drive measurable adoption through training, guidance, and hands-on problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business teams and technology stakeholders to uncover opportunities where AI, automation, and digital solutions can improve day-to-day operations and business outcomes.
Guide employees in the effective use of approved tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and related AI platforms through coaching, structured training, and ongoing support.
Lead workshops, office hours, and individual sessions that help users build confidence with new technologies and apply them to real business scenarios.
Translate loosely defined business requests into actionable solutions by recommending appropriate workflows, automation approaches, and digital tools.
Develop clear documentation such as prompts, playbooks, reference guides, and training materials that encourage consistent and effective tool usage.
Assess manual or inefficient processes and propose improvements using Microsoft 365 capabilities, workflow automation, forms, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Explore and test emerging AI features and agentic AI capabilities, identifying practical applications as well as potential limitations and risks.
Contribute to transformation planning by tracking adoption progress, preparing updates, and maintaining reporting and project documentation for leadership.
Collaborate with IT, Data, Compliance, Legal, and business partners to promote secure, responsible, and policy-aligned use of AI technologies.
Take ownership of special projects related to AI enablement, process improvement, and technology documentation as business priorities evolve. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, project management, digital transformation, technology enablement, or similar work.
Working knowledge of AI and automation tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Claude, generative AI solutions, or agentic AI workflows.
Experience identifying business challenges and shaping practical, user-friendly solutions in environments with changing priorities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and business stakeholders.
Experience creating training materials, presentations, user guides, workshops, or other enablement resources.
Solid analytical, organizational, documentation, and project coordination skills, with sound judgment in regulated or compliance-conscious environments.
Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
