Full Job Description Position:

Principal IT Project Manager Compensation:

$50

•70/hr, depending on experience

Location:

Garner, North Carolina Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Principal IT Project Manager to join their team! This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned project leader who enjoys driving complex, enterprise-wide initiatives from concept through completion. You'll work closely with business and technical teams to shape outcomes, manage priorities, and keep critical projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead complex, cross-functional IT and business projects. Align project scope with business goals and outcomes. Define requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies. Oversee vendor relationships, budgets, and delivery performance. Prepare status reports, dashboards, and project documentation. Communicate clearly with executive, business, and technical stakeholders. Support infrastructure, application, cloud, and integration initiatives. Identify issues early and drive timely resolutions. Mentor peers and support PMO best practices. Contribute to post-implementation reviews and process improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. 8+ years of IT or technical project management experience. PMP certification. Experience leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives. Strong understanding of project management methodologies. Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to document technical processes clearly and effectively. Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical groups. Experience managing complex technology projects and system integrations. Experience using AI in project management tools or processes.
