Years Role Summary:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters. The role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes while managing risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder expectations. This aligns with internal project management responsibilities focused on project delivery, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Delivery:

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

Monitor project progress and drive timely resolution of issues and blockers.

Ensure successful deployment, transition, and project closure.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business leaders, customers, vendors, and technical teams.

Facilitate steering committee meetings and governance reviews.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively.

Risk & Issue Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.

Manage project issues, escalations, assumptions, and change requests.

Ensure adherence to organizational governance and compliance standards.

Financial Management:

Track project budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.

Monitor revenue, margins, and cost performance against plans.

Ensure efficient utilization of project resources.

Team Leadership:

Lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Coach team members and support high-performance delivery practices.

Quality & Process Management:

Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards.

Establish project controls, reporting mechanisms, and quality checkpoints.

Drive lessons learned and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in project management.

Proven experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects.

Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or ServiceNow.

Preferred Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional)

PRINCE2 Practitioner

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

PMI-ACP
