Job Description

Overview Title:
IT Project Manager, 1099
Contract Location:
Remote / Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, with some onsite travel
Type:
Independent contractor (1099), project-based About Novus IT Consulting Novus IT Consulting, LLC places experienced independent IT professionals on projects for IT teams that have more work than people. We keep our pricing fair, and we work with contractors who want straightforward, well-scoped engagements. Duties
  • Lead technology projects from planning through delivery.
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs and status reports.
  • Coordinate vendors, field techs, and IT staff at the client.
  • Keep scope, budget and timeline on track, and flag issues early.
  • Hand off a clean deliverable at the end of each engagement. Requirements
  • 5+ years managing IT or infrastructure projects.
  • Comfort with tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana or similar.
  • Clear, calm communication with business operations and technical teams.
  • PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, Scrum or ITIL is a plus, but not required.
  • You're comfortable working as an independent contractor: you handle your own taxes and equipment, and there are no employee benefits.
Pay:
From $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
