Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Network & Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting with design, implementation, and management of both network and systems infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our organization's IT environment. This role requires a strong technical background in both networking and systems administration, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education/Experience:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required2. 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting Network and Servers required3. Knowledgeable in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V required4. Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and routing required5. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash for automation tasks required6. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices required7. Must be able to work with low voltage cabling (Copper/Fiber/Coax), and know the difference between the types8. Familiar with Cisco CLI preferred9. Experience with SD-WAN preferred10. A valid Drivers License and daily access to an automobile requiredAn Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
