Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Automation Engineer that manages and improves equipment and assembly processes, focusing on increasing uptime, capability, and reducing cycle time. Daily responsibilities include supporting new program launches, implementing error-proofing systems, responding to downtime, and assisting with equipment builds, PM development, and quality investigations. The engineer trains department personnel, reviews new technologies, manages special projects, and supports maintenance, engineering, and lean initiatives. Some travel and occasional weekend work are required.

Compensation:

$95k

• 110k salary Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering Science/Technology or 5+ years of experience within a related field.
• Strong background in manufacturing, automation, machine design, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in PLC programming & troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred) and HMI software programming (Factory Talk preferred).
• Experience designing, building, & programming machines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

Preferred:

• Project Management experience.
