Job Description
As a Controls Engineer at ARAMARK, you'll design, program, and support automation and control systems that power food service and facilities operations. You'll configure PLCs, HMIs, and networks, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably across diverse client sites. Partnering with operations, maintenance, and safety teams, you'll troubleshoot issues, lead system upgrades, and standardize control logic. You'll also support commissioning, documentation, and training while contributing to Aramark's culture of service, teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Design, program, and maintain control systems for food service and facilities equipment across ARAMARK sites Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and related automation hardware and software Monitor system performance, diagnose root causes of downtime, and implement corrective actions Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to improve reliability and efficiency Develop and maintain documentation, wiring diagrams, and control logic standards Support commissioning of new equipment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance staff and operators Participate in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives Required Skills PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens or similar)
