Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Voice Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will support and optimize enterprise unified communications platforms to deliver reliable voice, video, and collaboration services across the organization.
Rate Range:
$40/Hour to $41/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Senior Voice Network Engineer Responsibilities include: Design, deploy, and support enterprise Unified Communications platforms, including Cisco CUCM, Webex, Unity Connection, and Microsoft Teams Phone. Configure and manage voice infrastructure components such as SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies, call queues, auto attendants, and voicemail services. Troubleshoot and resolve voice, video, and collaboration issues across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid network environments. Monitor call quality and platform performance, analyzing metrics such as latency, jitter, packet loss, QoS, and MOS scores. Maintain and optimize network services supporting real-time communications, including routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and firewall configurations. Perform system upgrades, user provisioning, migrations, incident resolution, and documentation while ensuring high availability of communication services.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 6-8 years of experience in network engineering, unified communications, and enterprise voice infrastructure support. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco collaboration technologies, including CUCM, Webex, Unity Connection, CUBE, and voice gateways. Pay Details:
