Job Description:

## Objective / Summary Client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer (Sr NE) to implement, support, maintain, and document the agency's IT network infrastructure. The role is responsible for network engineering, troubleshooting, infrastructure analysis, architecture documentation, implementation, upgrades, performance optimization, and collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, security, and DevSecOps teams to ensure reliable and secure enterprise network operations. Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, documentation, research, analysis, and implementation of Client network infrastructure.
• Design, configure, implement, upgrade, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network technologies.
• Support and maintain enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related infrastructure issues affecting availability, performance, and operations.
• Utilize diagnostic software, line monitors, testing equipment, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve system problems.
• Collaborate with agency stakeholders, vendors, and infrastructure partners to gather requirements, specifications, and configuration details.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues impacting application performance and uptime.
• Assist with installation, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation of agency data network infrastructure.
• Oversee and collaborate with cloud and DevSecOps teams to optimize hybrid connectivity solutions and SD-WAN environments.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, topology diagrams, IP address schemes, firewall rules, and access control documentation.
• Independently manage and execute assigned projects and technical initiatives.
• Ensure network infrastructure follows security, architecture, and compliance standards.
• Create scalable, fault-tolerant, and reliable network architectures.
• Support disaster recovery planning, system performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
• Monitor network performance and maintain operational metrics and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum
• 8 years of hands-on experience
• with enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers, including setup, configuration, upgrades, management, and troubleshooting.
• Minimum
• 8 years of experience
• designing, installing, and troubleshooting enterprise local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs).

• 8 years of direct network engineering and network design experience
