Senior IT Administrator/Support Work Schedule:

Senior Level — 7+ Years Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced IT Administrator/Support to support and maintain secure, reliable, and resilient IT infrastructure in a demanding operational environment. This position is responsible for server and desktop administration, cybersecurity, systems maintenance, disaster recovery, backup and replication, troubleshooting, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a technical expert who can independently solve complex infrastructure challenges, lead technical initiatives, and work effectively with end users, application teams, and other IT professionals. Key Accountabilities Develop, maintain, and update documentation for network and operating procedures, standards, and guidelines. Perform security assessments and provide recommendations for existing systems and configurations. Maintain a secure, stable, and robust environment for administration systems. Perform maintenance and administration of servers and desktops. Apply patches, security updates, and system upgrades to physical and virtual servers. Ensure security protocols, standards, and organizational guidelines are consistently followed. Identify, mitigate, and protect the network and infrastructure from vulnerabilities and security threats. Monitor and manage system replication, backups, and recovery processes. Monitor, improve, and maintain disaster recovery environments and capabilities. Utilize project management tools and techniques to implement new technology initiatives. Provide regular project status updates and communicate risks, milestones, and deliverables. Collaborate with end users, junior IT staff, application teams, and other stakeholders to achieve business and operational objectives. Perform cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects and infrastructure investments. Provide advanced systems analysis and troubleshooting by reviewing logs, identifying root causes, and collaborating with application teams to resolve production issues. Lead infrastructure and systems upgrade, migration, implementation, and modernization projects. Maintain a strong focus on system availability, security, performance, and reliability. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required & Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of relevant IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related experience. Senior-level technical expertise with a demonstrated ability to operate independently. Advanced knowledge of systems administration, infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise technologies. Strong understanding of physical and virtual server environments. Experience with system backups, replication, recovery, and disaster recovery technologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, patching, and security best practices. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including the ability to review system and application logs and diagnose complex production issues. Proven ability to develop practical solutions to complex technical problems. Experience leading or participating in infrastructure and systems implementation and upgrade projects. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with end users, technical teams, application teams, and business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to influence others and achieve objectives through collaboration and technical leadership.
