Pacific Staffing is partnering with our well-established financial services client to identify a Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure across a fast-paced, security-focused environment. This role is responsible for maintaining servers, networks, cloud systems, and core business applications while ensuring high availability, strong cybersecurity posture, and seamless operational performance. The Senior Systems Administrator will lead system upgrades, troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable technology solutions. Compensation:
Up to $124,000/Year (DOE)Role type: Direct Hire100%
Onsite Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and optimize servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.
Manage system upgrades, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and performance monitoring.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Tier III support for escalated incidents.
Maintain Active Directory, group policies, identity management, and security configurations.
Support enterprise applications, storage systems, and integrations across departments.
Implement cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure planning, system improvements, and technology roadmaps.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in systems administration or enterprise infrastructure support.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking, and cloud platforms.
Experience with backup systems, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery planning.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system configuration.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
