Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Jr Systems Administrator to join a secure, compliant enterprise platform team , delivering infrastructure for mission-critical workloads. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in managing and troubleshooting desktops, servers and network devices. Collaborate with senior administrators on projects. Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Assist in setting up and configuring system builds for users, projects and labs. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives. Assist in evaluating and recommending IT hardware and software purchases. This role sits at the front of the platform lifecycle, combining technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. The engineer will support customer onboarding, solution scoping, and delivery of compute environments aligned with security and compliance requirements. This is a high-impact role requiring both technical depth and clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience . Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of Ansible, Puppet or other configuration management tools a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Associate) is a plus.
