YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with network and firewall technologies
• Experience working within a ticketing system
• Ability to work well with client's technical staff as well as C-Level executives
• Ability to create crisp and accurate documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide proactive monitoring of client's network infrastructure using purpose-built tools
• Work with clients to setup device management and monitoring
• Manage and troubleshoot alerts from our monitoring systems
• Manage client expectations by providing progress for reported incidents
• Ensure clients are responded to in a timely and professional manner
• Identify and investigate potential attacks and security risks
• Work with Tier 2/3 engineers to resolve difficult issues and document findings
• Investigate incidents using tools, packet captures, reports, and issue analysis
• Participate and actively drive knowledge sharing within Layer8 for common issues
• Create and update professional documentation
• Create and update service requests in our ticketing system
• Maintain an accurate inventory of client devices
• Opportunity to work directly with clients on-site, gaining hands-on experience across diverse network and security environments through assessments, deployments, migrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
