Job Description

Black Gold Accessories is a premier manufacturer of high-performance archery accessories trusted by hunters and competitive archers who demand precision, durability, and reliability when it matters most. Headquartered in Belgrade, Montana , we proudly design, machine, assemble, test, package, and ship our products in-house. As part of the Pure Archery Group family of brands, Black Gold Accessories brings together some of the most respected names in archery, including Black Gold sights, TightSpot quivers, and RipCord arrow rests. Our products are built for one purpose: to give archers confidence in every shot. From the drawing board to the field, we believe in innovative design, superior craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and uncompromising quality. Our team takes pride in building products that hunters and archers trust in some of the most demanding conditions.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an avid archer or hunter who enjoys helping people solve problems? Do you have a mechanical mindset and love figuring out how things work? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to combine your interests with your career. Black Gold Accessories is looking for a Customer Service & Warranty Repair Specialist to join our team. This is a unique, hands-on position that goes well beyond traditional customer service. You will be the voice of Black Gold for our customers and dealers, while also getting hands-on with our products—diagnosing issues, evaluating warranty claims, performing repairs, providing technical support, and making sure every repaired product meets our high standards before it goes back into the field. You'll work closely with teams across the organization, including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Shipping, Finance, and Product Development, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of our products and business.
THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU
Enjoy helping customers and finding solutions. Have strong mechanical aptitude and like taking things apart to understand how they work. Have experience with archery equipment, bowhunting, or tuning. Take pride in doing things right the first time. Enjoy a position that combines customer interaction with hands-on technical work. Are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Can communicate technical information in a clear and friendly way. Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. If you are a Black Gold product user or an avid hunter, even better—we'd love to hear your story and how archery has shaped your experiences in the field or on the range.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Customer & Dealer Support You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and dealers, providing knowledgeable and friendly support. Respond to customer and dealer phone calls, emails, and technical inquiries. Provide knowledgeable assistance with Black Gold products, accessories, warranties, repairs, and replacement parts. Listen carefully to customer concerns, gather the necessary information, and determine the best solution. Process warranty claims, repair authorizations, service documentation, and customer follow-ups. Provide repair estimates for non-warranty work and coordinate approvals with customers and dealers. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, warranty claims, repairs, and communications. Handle challenging customer situations professionally and work toward positive resolutions. Escalate complex technical concerns, recurring issues, and unusual customer situations when appropriate. Stay current on Black Gold products, technical specifications, warranty policies, and repair procedures. Warranty Evaluation & Repair This is where your mechanical skills come into play. Receive and inspect returned bow sights, accessories, and related products. Diagnose product concerns and determine the root cause of failures. Evaluate whether damage or failure is covered under warranty. Repair and service products using appropriate tools, procedures, and techniques. Ensure repaired products meet Black Gold's safety, performance, and quality standards before they are returned to the customer. Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and warranty documentation. Enter and process warranty returns through the warranty database and ERP system. Prepare completed repairs for shipment. Identify recurring product failures or quality concerns and communicate them to management. Help identify opportunities for product and process improvements. Inventory & Team Support Maintain an accurate inventory of warranty replacement parts. Process warranty inventory transactions through Microsoft Dynamics
D365 ERP
. Coordinate with Shipping, Warehouse, and Customer Service to ensure repairs and returns move efficiently through the process. Provide technical product support to Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Development as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe repair and customer service area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other projects as required.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of two years of customer service or related support experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair technical products. Working knowledge of archery equipment, components, and tuning is considered an asset. Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and precision assembly techniques. Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP, CRM, or warranty management systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member. We'd Love to
See:
Experience servicing or repairing archery equipment. Previous experience in a manufacturing, technical service, or repair environment. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or a similar ERP system. Experience with warranty administration. A genuine passion for archery, bowhunting, and the outdoors. Don't check every box? That's okay. If you have strong mechanical skills, excellent customer service instincts, and a passion for archery, we encourage you to apply.
WHY BLACK GOLD?
