In this role, you will be responsible for managing software licenses within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records to support IT asset and license management activities. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the IT organization to help optimize license administration processes, support compliance efforts, and improve data accuracy across the software asset management lifecycle. This position offers an excellent opportunity to further develop both administrative and technical expertise within a leading aerospace company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain software license inventory and associated records within ServiceNow .
  • Monitor software usage and license entitlements to ensure compliance with contractual and vendor licensing terms.
  • Support the procurement, renewal, and lifecycle management of software licenses.
  • Partner with IT, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate licensing for new software purchases and deployments.
  • Perform regular license compliance reviews and audits within ServiceNow to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and deliver accurate reports and documentation related to software licensing, usage, renewals, and compliance status.
  • Serve as a point of contact for software licensing inquiries, providing guidance and issue resolution to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current on software licensing models, vendor requirements, and industry best practices to support effective license management.
  • Apply sound judgment and analytical thinking to make informed recommendations, including in situations with incomplete or limited data.
  • Manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and a results-oriented approach in delivering high-quality work.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions to strengthen software asset management practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of software licensing concepts, agreements, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to support multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) tools and related systems.
  • Ability to review, interpret, and analyze software licensing agreements, contracts, and entitlement documentation.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and enterprise software applications, including tools such as ANSYS and Open iT .
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute daily responsibilities accurately and consistently.
  • Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Internship or co-op experience in Software Asset Management, IT administration, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) tools.
  • Working knowledge of software licensing regulations, compliance requirements, and relevant industry standards
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in executing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
