Job Description

The Career Technical Education Center is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Cybersecurity & Networking Instructor to join our team. This position will prepare high-school students for careers, industry certifications, and postsecondary education in cybersecurity, information technology, computer networking, and related fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the IT industry, extensive networking experience, and the ability to translate real-world technology experience into engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for students. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information technology, computer networking, systems administration, or a related field. CompTIA A+ certification required. CompTIA Network+ certification required. Demonstrated professional experience with computer networking and network infrastructure. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, troubleshooting, and IT support. Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and technologies. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with high-school students in a hands-on CTE laboratory environment. Ability to establish and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment. Ability to meet applicable Ohio CTE licensure and employment requirements.

$43,855.00 - $100,485.00 per year
