What We Are Looking For The IT Systems Technician provides hands-on, on-site support for business systems and end users, focusing on maintaining reliable IT operations and minimizing downtime. This is a user-facing role designed for someone who can manage day-to-day technology issues independently while coordinating with the IT Manager and a third-party Managed Service Provider (MSP) for escalations and cybersecurity support. This role is ideal for a technically skilled, physically capable professional who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with users, and performing hands-on technical work in a dynamic environment. This position works closely with other departments to ensure SIRE continues to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties Infrastructure Management Maintain and optimize Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, and core network services including DNS and DHCP. Cloud & Modern Workplace Administration Manage, configure, and secure the Microsoft 365 suite and Azure cloud environments to support organizational growth and compliance. Network Support Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN systems. Security & Compliance Implement routine security patching, manage backup verification processes, and execute data recovery protocols to protect organizational assets. Technical Escalation Serve as a escalation point to resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance to Technical team the Business. . Automation & Documentation Develop PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive administrative tasks and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
