We are seeking a dedicated Field IT Support Technician to join our team, providing essential, hands-on support for IT infrastructure. This role is perfect for a professional with 2-5 years of experience who enjoys troubleshooting, technical mobility, and ensuring seamless operations in diverse, fast-paced environments including office spaces and airport facilities. Infrastructure Support:
Manage implementation, maintenance, and repair for desktop devices, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, and specialized industry-specific equipment.
Operational Mobility (IMAC): Execute physical installs, moves, adds, and changes for IT infrastructure devices, including workstations, network hardware, and peripheral systems.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows-based workstations and associated platforms.
Service Delivery:
Maintain clear and effective communication with end-users to ensure all technical needs are met with precision and professional urgency.
Flexibility:
Adapt to a dynamic schedule that includes some travel to nearby sites, weekend shifts, and after-hours availability as needed for project success." Requirements
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant IT technical support experience.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+ Certification is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiencies
Strong knowledge of Windows workstation environments
Foundational understanding of Network and Server systems
Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook applications.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this role.
Logistics:
Ability to travel to various local sites (mostly same-day, with rare overnight travel) and comfort with a flexible, on-call schedule.
Compliance
Due to the nature of the locations supported, candidates must be able to pass an extensive, rigorous background check and drug screen
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. (Sponsorship is not available).Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting airline or transportation infrastructure is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to apply technical processes to complex business requirements.
