The role We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead our more complex projects, handle escalations from the rest of the team, and be a trusted point of contact for our clients. This is a hands-on senior role — you'll be doing the work, not just directing it. You'll also have meaningful input into how we solve problems and where the company goes next.

A typical week might include:

Leading a server migration or network rollout at a client site Troubleshooting a tricky AD or M365 issue that got escalated to you Supporting desktops, servers, and networks remotely and on-site Sitting in on a client strategy meeting to help plan their next 12 months of IT Helping a junior tech work through something they haven't seen before Updating documentation so the next person isn't flying blind What we're honest about You'll wear several hats and your work will visibly matter. We've been doing this 18+ years — we're stable, not a startup, not a rocket ship. You'll have autonomy and minimal bureaucracy.

That cuts both ways:

we need someone who can run with things without a lot of hand-holding. We're local. Our clients are here in the Rochester region and you'll meet them in person. What you'll need 5+ years of IT support experience, with 3+ years as a field engineer leading complex projects 5+ years working with LAN/WAN and Active Directory Strong hands-on experience with Windows servers, networking, and Microsoft 365 Solid written and verbal communication — you'll be talking to non-technical business owners regularly Ability to pass proficiency tests on hardware, software, networking, servers, cloud, and mobile Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client sites around the Rochester area Physically able to sit, stand, stoop, lift/carry 35 lbs., use a keyboard, and use a phone Nice to have Office 365 / M365 admin experience (3+ years preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Benefits 401(k) with matching Health insurance Paid time off Company-provided training Room to grow with an established local company
