Position Overview :

As a Level 2 IT Technician, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing solutions, and offering expert guidance to optimize system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Provide timely technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person, addressing their IT-related queries and concerns. 2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians or higher levels of support when necessary. 3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networking devices, and other IT equipment according to client requirements and industry best practices. 4. Perform system upgrades, patches, and software installations to ensure security and functionality. 5. Proactively monitor IT systems and networks to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. 6. Document all technical procedures, configurations, and support activities accurately for reference and knowledge sharing. 7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical challenges and improve service delivery. 8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Level 2 IT Technician or similar role, with a solid understanding of IT principles and practices.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
