Job Description We are seeking a

Technician:

Platform / Validation - III to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PC and server hardware assembly and debugging, Linux installation and administration, and high-speed networking and a proven ability to execute rack buildouts, maintain lab infrastructure, and resolve connectivity issues for remote users .

Responsibilities:

Build and configure server systems, including installing cards and components. Execute wiring changes and install servers within data center racks. Install, update, and maintain Linux operating systems on lab and production hosts. Debug PC hardware platforms and validate platform functionality. Support remote users and troubleshoot connectivity and access issues. Follow technical directions and standard operating procedures accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years installing, running, and administering Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience building and debugging PC and server hardware platforms. Working knowledge of high-speed networking and rack-level cabling. Ability to support remote users and resolve connectivity issues. Good verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates. At least 5 years of related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with lab environments and VM administration. Knowledge of Intel inventory system (ISMP) and Intel shipping system (ISM). Why BCforward?
