Information Technology (IT) Technician II Applicants must have a strong knowledge of computers, computer software, computer networking and computer hardware as well as advanced reading skills (technical journals). Have the ability to follow directions, work independently and to communicate both orally and written. Have the ability to assist with training on new programs and software. Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, must be professional, be able to work well with the co-workers and be able to work flexible hours. Work hours may include evenings, weekends, or holidays. Must have the ability to lift 20-50LBS frequently, and 50-100LBS occasionally. Position also requires frequent sitting, twisting, reaching, driving, walking, bending, carrying, stair climbing, and standing. Ability to work additional hours and attend conferences either local or various locations throughout the state, have a valid Texas Drivers License, and a High School Diploma.
