Experienced broadband technical support needed for local cable, internet, and phone company. Must meet customer needs and expectations while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities:

Provide troubleshooting of residential and business internet and phone services. Configure and verify settings of users equipment. Accurately document all interactions with customers through internal ticket system. Maintain and monitor both internal and external servers/equipment. Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Lift over 40 lbs. Safely climb ladders and adhere to safety policies. On call rotation-Must provide after hours support in emergency situations. Regular consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of associate's degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience. Excellent phone and computer skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic working knowledge of local area networks, switches, and other network related software/equipment. Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and maintain composure in stressful situations. Valid driver's license necessary.
