Long-term Contract | Hybrid Work Model About the Role Join Ulta Beauty's forward-thinking team as a Product Owner/Product Analyst to help shape the future of AI-powered store operations. You will play a pivotal role in the discovery and requirements-gathering phase for a strategic initiative aimed at transforming scheduling, zoning, task management, and other key operational processes. Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational leaders to document, define, and prepare project requirements for a cutting-edge AI solution. This hybrid contract offers exposure to innovative technology, cross-functional collaboration, and the potential for long-term product ownership as the project moves into development. Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, store operations teams, and technical partners
• Document current-state processes for scheduling, zoning, task management, and related workflows
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable business and functional requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process flows, business rules, and use cases
• Facilitate workshops to identify business needs, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and align requirements with business objectives
• Support evaluation and definition of requirements for a future AI-powered store operations solution
• Partner with project workstream leads to ensure consistency and alignment across deliverables
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, incorporating stakeholder feedback throughout discovery
• Communicate project progress, outstanding questions, and risks to project leadership
• Contribute to product planning, backlog development, prioritization, and delivery activities as the initiative advances Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst supporting complex technology initiatives
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate interviews, workshops, and cross-functional sessions
• Track record translating business processes into structured, actionable deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled in producing clear, organized documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills
• Able to manage priorities, work independently, and drive deliverables to completion
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment with undefined technology platforms Preferred Skills
• Background in retail, store operations, or multi-location environments
• Exposure to artificial intelligence, AI applications, or digital transformation
• Experience with workforce management, scheduling, task management, or operational systems
• Familiarity with mobile applications or operational technology platforms
• Experience in Agile product development settings
