Product Owner#26-09404 Pennington, NJ Hybrid Contract Starts 9/21/2026 Ends 9/24/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will be accountable for defining and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities. You will work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities, lead release planning, and ensure adnce to enterprise standards for documentation in software delivery tools like Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities:

Define and prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features orponents for the team Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities Lead the planning of product release plans/PI planning, S Planning and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities Provide an active role in mitigating dependencies of team which help successfulpletion of Release/S goals Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends Be accountable for adhering to enterprise standards for documentation in our software delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in the security or banking domain Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), with SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification strongly preferred Demonstrated ability in writing user stories and managing backlogs Ability tomunicate with both business and technology partners effectively Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum Technical proficiency in using JIRA or other agile project management tools Desired skills: Experience in a SAFe Agile environment Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting the banking or security sectors, such as

GDPR, MRA

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments Experience Jira-Atlassian software delivery web application Understanding of financial services or security systems MS365 and SharePoint Migration experience Pay range: $49.46 - $57.46 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
