Insurance 9+ years of experience as a Python Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on Backend Development (70%) and exposure to UI Development (30%) using React.js. Extensive experience working on legacy Java applications with involvement in modernization initiatives and migration toward Python-based solutions. Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications. Strong experience working within AWS cloud environments, including deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management. Proven experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. Experience working in the Insurance domain, with strong understanding of policy administration systems; exposure to LifePRO policy administration platform is highly preferred. Knowledge of legacy technologies, including .NET-based front-end applications, and experience supporting hybrid technology environments. Proficient in databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with strong expertise in database design, optimization, and complex query development. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency. Strong problem-solving, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration skills within Agile development environments. About Iris Software Inc.
