JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN

Validate and verify Microgrid Power Control Systems (MPCS) and electrical control systems. Develop and execute system-level test plans, validation procedures, and performance analyses. Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and software validation testing. Support new product introduction (NPI) activities for power and control systems. Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. Utilize tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, and CANape for testing and analysis. Ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements. Document test results, findings, and recommendations for continuous product improvement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform system validation, verification, and testing of MPCS and control systems. Develop, execute, and document test plans, procedures, and test results. Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and software validation activities. Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, and software issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, software, and electrical engineering. Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and product development efforts. Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, and CANape tools for testing and analysis. Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements. Prepare technical reports, validation documentation, and engineering updates.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of experience in controls, validation, or systems engineering. Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and product development. Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, HIL testing, and CAN tools preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
